For wiring between
the LMD and controllers, only communication wiring is required,

Each set value can be set on the connected controllers.
The following 12 items can be set;
SV, Alarm 1, OUT1 proportional band, OUT2 proportional band,
Integral time,
Derivative time, ARW, OUT1 proportional cycle, OUT2 proportional
cycle,
Manual reset (only DCL-33A, NCL-13A, JCL-33A),
Set value lock, Auto-tuning/Auto-reset
Monitoring function!
Channel numbers of the connected controllers can be switched
manually or
automatically, and PV, SV and alarm status are displayed.
Data
logging function
Data such as PV, SV, OUT1 MV, OUT2 MV and controller status
(output, alarm, etc.)
of the controllers connected to the LMD-100 can be saved on
the CF card with
CSV format.
Data logging cycles are selectable from 1sec, 2sec, 5sec,
10sec, 15sec, 20sec,
30sec, 1min, 2min, 5min, 10min, 20min, 30min and 60min.
Easy operation!
1. Set Data logging conditions.
Date, time, logging item, logging cycle, etc. can be set
by keypad operation.
2. Insert the CF card.
3. Lock the LOCK switch.
4. Press the [LOG] key.
5. Data logging starts.
If Auto-start function is selected, data logging starts
at the set time.
Data for
approx. 4 months can be saved.
If data logging for all setting items is conducted
with 5 sec logging cycle by connecting
2 controllers, 1.7 to 2.0MB/24 hours CF card is used. Approx.
4 months of data can
be saved, using the CF card (256MB) included.
CF card data can be edited on commercially available spreadsheet
software.

Set
value memory function
6 groups of SV of the connected controllers can be saved.
When changing SV frequently due to material or process
difference, this function
is very useful.
1. Registers SV of the Set value memory number in advance.
(e.g.) If 5 units of controllers are connected, 30 types
of the SV can be registered as

2. Select Set value memory
number 3.
Controllers' SV will be changed to the SV of Set value memory
number 3 (yellow
section of the above table).
Broadcast
setting function
The same set value can be set to all connected controllers
simultaneously.
Press the [CH] key for approx. 1 sec in the Main setting
mode (*1) or Sub setting
mode (*2). The unit enters Broadcast setting status, and the
same set value will be
set to all connected controllers simultaneously.
To release Broadcast setting function, press the [CH] key for
approx. 1 sec again.

If front key "LOCK" is selected, keys which are
related to the setting mode cannot
be operated.
1-point Error output!
If errors occur during data logging, if the CF card is defective,
when the LMD-100
battery runs down, or if the LOG key is pressed without setting
time, ERR output is
turned ON.

Writing in a new file
Opens a new file every time logging starts, and saves
data in it.
When logging data reaches 65,000 lines, the file is closed,
and saves the data in a new file.
If a defective CF card is inserted, the reset function
to prevent malfunction is initiated, and the instrument
reverts to warm-up status.
Max. number of files: 170
If the number of files exceeds 170, an error message
appears on the PV display regardless of the remaining
memory capacity in the CF card.
